Same needs as larger companies
Although Holgers is a mid-sized company, we are faced with more or less the same work tasks as the larger companies. Therefore, we have the same need of a good business management system, especially in relation to project management. With the exception of screwing screws, MultiPlus is involved in everything we do,” says CEO of Holgers AS, Asgeir Elvstedt.

Big or small, equal needs

Regardless of size, all companies need their ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems to manage the same tasks – whether it concerns sales, production, logistics, project, finance, payroll, or bank communications.

This is why Holgers has chosen MultiPlus, a system that is also used in companies and groups that employ thousands of people.

Core system

An ERP system such as MultiPlus rapidly becomes a central element in a company’s development and operations.

MultiPlus contributes to smooth and efficient internal and external processes, and is central in all communication with clients and suppliers as well as in the company’s continuous quality management efforts.

“All tasks in our company pretty much involve all of our departments. Based on this, the various departments were equal representatives in the group that chose MultiPlus,” says Office Manager Hanne Brynjulfsen.

Major need of project management
Good project management was becoming increasingly important to the mechanical company.

Holgers is a flexible manufacturer that has both the ability and capacity to produce exactly what the customers require, whether it is development of individual solutions or adjustment of standard solutions.

To perform this work, the company needs both a production system and a project system. MultiPlus covers both areas, which may come as a surprise, as project-oriented and production-oriented companies often have constituted two separate aspects in a production context.

“We need a system that gathers all information from various parts of the company. MultiPlus offers a real time overview of project status at any given time. This is definitely necessary, as most projects require adjustments during the process,” says Elvstedt.
